The Company of Goldsmiths of Dublin Assay Office
The Dublin Assay Office is the sole Irish hallmarking office in the country and it hallmarks all Irish precious metal jewellery. It is a legal requirement for jewellery made with these precious metals to be hallmarked, so Irish-based jewellers producing jewellery in one or more precious metals are required to be fully registered with the Office, who will test each piece of jewellery and attest to it’s quality and standard.

The Goldsmiths’ Centre is the UK’s leading charity for the professional training of goldsmiths. It brings together emerging and established goldsmiths with those interested in jewellery, silversmithing and the allied industries.
